Hi i am about to purchase these rims in 16x8 my question is should i be getting these in 3 5/8" back spacing or 4 9/16" which will have less rubbing?

Darren is the only guy I know who is running the Classic IIs. He is running them with 4 9/16" BS. You might want to e-mail/PM him for more info.

Closer to stock BS will give less rubbing typically. Less BS will increase your scrub radius and will give you rubbing at the valence and firewall/rear of front fenders.

I'm running those Classic II's. I got the 3 5/8's backspacing. I only rub when i'm at a quarter turn coming into a driveway or gas station. I'm also running 305/70/16's. they stick out a little in the back, not too bad in the front.

Hope this helps. Let me know if i can be of any help. Love those rims!!!
