main bearing caps 22re vs. 22ret
Since the latest difficulty on my rig seems to be a bad rear main seal and I have heard it may be the result of the heavy flywheel stressing the main bearing caps I was wondering if the caps off a 22re turbo were stronger than the standard 22re caps. Anybody have any ideas on that or if there would be other problems that would result in main seal failure?
