Lube Question

I have a 3rd generation, 2000 4runner 2wd 4cyl. Anyways, I was changing my oil today and I attempted to lube the chassis. However, I never did find the lube points on the universal joints per instructions in my Haynes repair manuel. Is this b/c the car is not 4wd, or the year? Does anyone know exactly where I am to grease the chassis. Thanks

Are you referring to lubing the drive shaft and u-joints? The lube fittings are kinda hidden. Take a flashlight and look into the recessed points of the u-joints.
PS. even 2wd drive shafts have to be lubed

There are no zerks on a 2wd driveshaft, only 4wd with the double cardan joints.
