I have the coleman rack that costco was selling for so cheap a few months ago and i've had it mounted normally on the stock rack for a while. But i've seen pictures of people that have lowerd it and i really like how that looks better. I'd love to mount it right to the stock rails.. can anyone help me with some custom mounts? thanks!

I am with you guys-I can't fit in garage with roof rack atop the cross rails s-but snugged up to the roof it would fit fine.

 

take off the stock cross bars and fab up some mounts for it.
