Actually I remember there was a Range Rover a few years back that used that concept - it had air bag suspension from the factory (for all I know they still use it - I'm just not current on English Tech!) that would do all sorts of tricks, including automatically trying to reach for the ground if it became high centered.

It would also hunker down at highway speeds for aerodynamics and kneel at the curb for easier entry/exit.

Audi's Offroad quattro has a 4 stage airbag suspension, that raises/lowers with a switch or at different speeds. Mercedes benz is also testing a suspension system that alters the amount of camber on the wheels as you turn, depending on the amount of turning, speed, and traction conditions. Now that's autobahn engineering!

yes they still use that tech. at least on the range rover, not sure about the land rover still, but i know that the girl in my senior hs class that recked her 01 land rover, those air bags couldnt react in time and got ran right into a light pole, lol, no its not funny, but at the same time, its funny!!! except THEN she got an 01/02 4runner, black hoodscoo, sport what not!! stupid batch.

Uh......that thing is cool, I wanted to do that to my Cheep Sahara but with 18 inch wire wheels. No one mentioned anything about the custom steering wheel. I am sure that rig sees more asphalt than dirt so might as well fix it per your enviroment. Props on the 3 wheel motion. I bet the :pig:s love that one.

But have you seen the type of :chicken:'s that they are usually with? They look like Well the ones around here anyway...

Hey, did anyone consider that he wasn't wheel hopping, but instead is just articulating on a hidden rock?
