I need to get a turn down on mine. Im starting to get headaches from the noise.

Who's 16? im 18 in another month....sucks that its so close to time to go to college tho. I wish i still had like 10 more years to be a wild kid.....and i am enjoying every min of it. BTW the only reason i dont have a muffler is because the stock one developed a hole that was not repairable, so we cut it out and inserted a piece of pipe in its place because i didnt have the money for a muffler. The sound grew on me so until i strike it rich it'll proabably stay that way.

my muffler came disconnected once and i thought it sounded pretty cool for a day and then I couldn't wait to get it fixed. and i also didn't wanna be mistaken for a "ricer". but whatever floats your boat

it is personal preference pretty much. i figure it wont sound like a V8 no matter what, and since my truck isnt lowered with bags and scraping bumpers on teh pavement i dont think its mistakeable for a ricer....i hate seeing good trucks turned into those useless lowriders.

I have a 15" Magnaflow muffler (the stock muffler was 22" long) and 2.5" dual pipes with the Deckplate Mod and ISR Mod done. My 4Runner sounds great and its increased my low end torque too!! by great meaning loud and throaty!! Magnaflow mufflers do not have any BAFFLES so its straight thru design, and the shorter the muffler the louder it is. and if you use larger diameter pipes after the muffler (like 3") it will make it louder too!!
good luck
