well total for parts and shipping was 658.74
Which includes:
4 OME Shocks
4 OME Coils
Diff Drop Kit
Front Trim Packers
Shipping was 50 bucks. So for you it might be cheaper, cuz these got shipped out of Colorado as Mike doesn't carry any OME parts.
I don't plan on paying anybody for install, maybe spending some on tools and renting a spring compressor, but that money is returnable.

The hardest thing about the install is mounting the spring on the shock. I couldn't find a spring compressor that would work so I gave up as I was already at school and didn't have all of my dad's tools with me. A wall mount takes about 10-15min to put them both on, so i'm sure if you have a buddy with a shop or something they would do it cheap or free. Then the install is simple as pie. Good luck!

Yay I got my rear shocks in today!! I guess the stuff I got yesterday was sent by High Country out in Colorado, and the rears were sent by ARB out in WA today. So that was the mix up, and the diff drop kit should be on its way now.
btw is there such a thing as using TOO much PB Blaster? Cuz I soaked my bolts today and plan on soaking them until I get them off
, for some reason I don't know how to get to the top of the rear shock. Any ideas?

The rear shock is bitc* to say the least. What worked for me was picking up a strap wrench. I put a box-end wrench on the top shock mount nut (you've got to crane your arm up and over to reach it), then just used the strap wrench on the shock body to twist the shock off. I had already removed the lower shock nut and knocked it off its seat at that point. I wrecked the dust cover on the old shock in the process, but didn't give a crap since I tossed them in the garbage anyways.

Make sure you coat the new one with antiseize and coat it well.

The trick we use on the factory shocks is a 2 person method and works every time.
1. person get under there and hold the 12mm wrench on the nut.
2. One or maybe even two people twist the top of the shock off, the dust cover is welded to the shaft. You'll bust a nut but you'll get them off without using a saw or a tourch.

AWESOME! Thanks for the ideas guys!! So most likely I'll bust the nut, and just use the one that came with the rear shock as a replacement? Do I have to anti-seize that one?
Ok last stupid question, I can just use the spare tool inside the truck to get the lug nuts off the wheel? And then use it again to tighten it? Yes, I know this is a really stupid question:pat:
