Try looking into the Hankook Dynamic RF04. I would have never thought of putting Hankook tires, but after running these tires for a week, I would never turn back to another AT tire. These are Hankooks AT tire and they are very very quiet on the road, more quiet than even some HT tires. Off-road they have excellent grip in the mud, sand, and snow. They also clean very well in the mud due to the siping. They are also very cheap and my dad has had them on his LX470 for about 55K miles and so far, they a wearing nicely and evenly.

I've got a few thousand miles on my Nittos and they are the best AT tire I've had on a DD and much cheaper than a set of BFGs by quite a bit and you don't need to sipe the Nittos.

I had the Yoks on my '97 and you can't beat the price with the mileage warranty. They had really good dry grip on the street (and solid wet/snowy weather manners) but at a compromise of tire life but that's why the warranty is nice. There's a couple people on this board that ran them over Moab and really like the softer compound of the Geolandars since it comformed and gripped to rocks quite well.

Yokohama Geolander H/T-S G051 are excellent for mostly road driving. Excellent in the rain and nice4 and quiet. I have had them on my Tacoma for a year now and love them and at about $100 a piece. Not a bad price.

the sport kings do last forever, just because the compound is so hard, which sucks in snow, i like the coopers better than the bfg and they are cheaper. but not as cheap as the sport king(futura) same thing. expect them to break loose on the slightest wet road.
and that is a smokin ass -beerjet-
