Looking to replace muffler need help!!!!

OK, so the muffler finally rotted out on my '00 4Runner. The tail pipe is ok and I'm cheap so I'm looking to buy a replacement muffler to fit exactly between the existing flanges. Any suggestions where to buy one? I went to all the local places Napa, Car Quest, Autozone and the muffler is either wrong or unavailable. I can buy a factory replacement for $240, but looking to save a few bucks here. I see people are buying magnaflow and others, but where and what are you doing for the connections from flange to flange?

Well you can just cut the flanges off and weld in the replacement Magnaflow muffler. Sounds and performs well with Yota V6's
I got my Magnaflow from my local Lordco shop here for $120 (cdn)

I just got my 14" (22" overall length) Magnaflow installed with new 2.25" tubing for 180$. That's 50$ for labor and 130$ for the muffler and tubing. Sounds great and one step closer to completing the whole system. We all know the stock exhaust manifolds for 2nd Gen. suck @$$. Hope this helps.

I got my Magnaflow off of Ebay for $59 and had it welded on for $45. They even put on a new chrome tip for me. I love it.

See this post: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...ight=magnaflow

EBAY Store: http://stores.ebay.com/Performance-P...toreviewQQtZkm

Have fun...I love my Magnaflow.
