Looking for 1st Gen Part Number.

1985 4Runner

I am looking for a part number for the interior. Specifically the 2 pieces that attach to the sides of the rear seat and hold it in place when it is up. Right now, I have just 2 screws and half a broken plastic bit there. I suspect there are 2 plastic pieces that screw in there so that the rear seat is locked and rigid when up.

If I can find the part numbers I can maybe get them through the dealership. My interior is brown, but color really isn't an issue since these pieces are basically hidden anyway.

hah..couldnt help you there alls min has is a small metallic tab coming out of the back seat, no longer than .5" that sits in the bracket mounted on the interior sides. Funny thing is, is that the metallic tab has a hole like something slides in there to prevent movement, but its not even long enough to protrude through the bracket when the back is upright.

 

I'd look in a junkyard or two before going to a dealer for something like that. I just like junkyards though. I'm certain my favorite Toyota 4x4 specific yard has them. I'd bet there are some in a yard near you.
