Refreshing the post.....just a thought--could that be a minor coolant leak? I Have seen a many plugs and these ones are stumping me

 

Typically, deposits on plugs are caused by either too much oil leaking into combustion chamber or by certain types of fuel additives. It's hard to get a good look at them from your picture though. The resolution is not high enough, and it's also a bit blurry.

 

Personally, I don't think they look all that bad. The deposits could be ash deposits caused by what appears to be a large gap in the worn out plug. The large gap will cause a hotter, and possibly delayed spark. This could cause a change in combustion, leading to the deposits.

I would just put in some fresh plugs and pull them out after a few thousand miles to see how they look.

I put in new plugs--but what worries me is that a while back i did the stupidist thing in the world--I poured Sea Foam down the vacumn tube WITHOUT the MOTOR RUNNING. Well there was enough to Hydrolock the motor when i tried to turn it over. Pulled all the plugs cleared it out. It starts are runs fine but my MPG has gotten really bad. However, it was already starting to go down prior to my zombie mechanicing mistake. I guess i am just a little on the worried side--wanted to go diesel--just not yet!!

 

Do you think it may have been caused by an excessive amount of seafoam......after the incident above--it smoked like a chiminey--funny as hell driving down the road...
