Look at my new shoes...

Well I know that this is a mostly off-road forum. But you guys have been quite an inspiration and I couldnt hold out on showing you my street queen. I just put the 20 in Tundra rims on her. Keep in mind she is a 2wd, so cut me a little slack. Of course it would rain when I decide to Zaino. Here is a pic.

Tundra brake upgrade on the way.

Meh, they are alright looking, I just don't think they are that cool on a 4Runner. Of course, I am used to having different wheels for every tire on my rigs, since I am so redneck .

Off topic, but what kind of exhaust is on there?

Flowmaster, i like the way it sounds especially with the deckplate.. at WOT it growls. ONly thing though... now I reeeeallly want a supercharger... I took the 15 inch wheel weight for granted.. takes forever to get to speed now.

ah well, it looks good. I must admit that I like big Black rims better but with the clear lights it all blends together nicely. next you should get a 3" lift and some 33" swampers!

I think it looks clean. I'd be interested to hear what you've done with the fender flares and the "soft" mud flaps.

That actually looks very good. Thank God you didn't go overboard with BLING. I think you should proabably regear before goin to a supercharger. the S/C will take you're already bad mileage from bigger wheels and make it MUCH worse.

I like the rims being a little subdued instead of the chrome "look at me from a mile away" wheels that a lot people get carried away with. Tastefully done.

I am not as big a fan of the giant rims/low profile tires but I must say you pulled off those Tundra rims very nicely, I think it loos pretty sweet. I know it also depends on the mentality where you live since those style rims/tires on SUVs are super hot down in the south and SW.

Im in GA, so yea the rims are a big hit. I cant hellp but smile an I appreciate the kind comments. Regearing sounds like a much better Idea btw, that hadnt even crossed my mind. I would love any constructive critism, and again, this forum amazes me far more than anything else... not a singlle flame or anything. The soft mud flaps are basically just screwed through the bushwackers into the plastic stuf behind it. Im so happy to have the approval of other 4runner enthusiasts... thank you guys for the kind words. Im debating putting...side steps... I know from many posts that sliders are the way to go... but I dont go rock crawling in Shirley, and I do like the chromage... Just a thought.

If you colour matched your front and rear bumpers it would really add to the overall look, although chrome and white go nice together. Side steps would look preety good on your runner

I think those rims look too big. I can appreciate a street queen (i'm driving one myself) but the 20's are are bling bling ghettofabulous! ok, well maybe not that bad but if i saw it on the street i'd probably laugh. sorry.

Shirleyda4runner, where in GA are you? If you're local, I wouldn't mind getting a closer look. I'm interested in replacing my mud flaps and I'm just looking for ideas. Looks like you've got a clean mod there. And personally, I think looks better the way it is than with any type of side steps.

Woodstock here.

This street queen rules the land of peaches! You've done a very nice job with her. I dont mind some bling on a 2wd Runner at all. It looks like you have the original taillights, I might suggest some '01 tails as your next mod (stay away from the Alteeza's in my opinion).

The 01 tailights and chrome plate bezel are something that has eluded me for years. I saw them a while ago... and wanted them.. and as soon as I got any money.. BAM.. black interior.. BAM... BUshwackers... BAM....Twenkies...but I completely agree that they are superior to mine. Im in newnan... come take a look if you want, I looove showing her off.. Ill get more pics soon with a better angle and camera... It started to rain 2 seconds after I took the pic. Also as another tip to any older 4runner owners.. I know that my paint is clearcoatless... and it was slightly stained in grooves and such... POLISH is amazing... dont polish the whole car... just the problem areas that have never been clean b4.. I had water stains and bird crap that just wouldnt go away and wax didnt cover it up... i fixed it all yestrday. Im always retarded when thinkin about taking b4 and after pictures... I usually think I about the b4 pictures after Im done with the after stage.
