Lockers and gears for $3100.
Just got an estimate from a local shop for gears and lockers. For $3100.00 this is what I get
front and rear ring and pinion installed
front and rear arb air lockers installed
arb compressor and lines NOT installed
He figured 13 hrs labor for total of $910 this is included in est.
Does this sound fair?

Sounds about right to me, other guys might chime in and tell you their experiences. The dual ARB's and the compressor should run around $1600 and then add on the price of gears and labor, 3100 doesn't sound all that bad.

Gear brand?
$650 per ARB
$200 per Precision Gear Set
$125 or so for bearings, third member stuff per diff
$250 per diff for install labor
Sounds not too awful bad, but make sure you are getting good gears.
