Locker engages, but light still flashes!?

Howsit going everyone,
I have an automatic 1999 toyota tacoma sr5 trd 4x4. I recently purchased this almost 2 weeks ago. When i test drove it the locker light stayed on steady and worked fine. Now, almost 2 weeks later i decided to test it again to keep it properly lubed. The lock engaged (i heard the actuator and the pop of the locker being fully engaged) but the light still flashed. I turned in figure 8's and everything to see if the light would become solid..it still flashed

So, to confirm that it was indeed locking up, I put the truck in neutral, and 4-lo. I then jacked it up and spun my wheels (one went forward, the other went backwards). I turned the truck on acc, pushed the locker button and heard it engage (light still flashing). I walked back to the rear wheels, and tried to spin them, BOTH are locked. So now i confirmed that it IS working, but my light is still blinking.

I didnt see any lose connection of wires on my diff so idk..anyone have any ideas? Sorry for the novel, i thought it would be best to give as much description possible for easier answers.

If you did not engage things per the instructions on your visor or owner's manual light will flash. Does the same thing if you don't engage 4WD properly.

I believe that I engaged the locker and 4wd correctly. Any tips on removing the locker? It looks like is pretty solid on the diff. Any tips?

Damn, I'm having the hardest time taking it off with the screwdriver. Once it is off though, I check the rail off teeth in the diff to make sure it moves freely correct?
