Does anyone have any experience with anyof the liquid head gasket repairs, like 'Heal-a-Seal??

My '88 has blown head gasket.

anything that comes in liquid form to cure a headgasket leak is garbage!

 

yep, it's not going to really fix it, and you run the risk of really screwing up your engine...

 

everything said above. quite a few years back i blew a head gasket in another ride, put ˟˟˟˟˟ like that in and drove the 100+ miles home, still had to stop to put water in. when i took the motor apart the head was toasted. definitely not worth it!!!

 

I will tell you from what I've seen around in the shop is that customers who add that junk actually make it harder for us since any seals that the stuff touches causes them to swell up too much and make it more of a slimey "glue" type of gaskets.
