Limiting Strap Issues

I bought my limiting straps a year ago. I was under my 4runner today and realized that my limiting strap bracket broke and the other one is ready to break also :wtf:

Has anybody had this happen and is there a way to fix it without having to buy new straps.

Thanks
Jeff

I think that I'm going to just make new brackets that aren't POS like these ones.

Those brackets seem aweful thin for something that will see some serious stress on occasion. Are they perhaps too short and seeing more than they should though?

No they are 18.5" long and stop the axle about 1/2" before the shock is completely extended.

Word of advice. Don't buy Superlift's Limiting straps. They are weak.

I have the Rancho limiting straps and the brackets on mine are about twice the thickness of those.
