Lights?

I am thinking about getting a set of driving lights to mount on the front of my 4runner. My dad has always been happy with PIAA's, and I run their headlight bulbs, but does anyone have any suggestions on other brands like IPF, Explorer Pro Comp...that work really well. Ive looked at the PIAA 520's, but it seems that a lot of people buy them just to look tough and have PIAA across the front of their truck, but never really turn them on. Thank You

Me along with a buncha other guys on here run the Hella 500's, I love mine and I've never heard anybody complain about them. Be sure you get the the clear covers for them so you don't get screwed by flying rocks on the highway...it sucks.

Good luck!

Well, if your interested in the PIAAs then you don't mind spending some money... and if you want the best of the best, there is no better light than the LightForces... they have adjustable beams, bullet proof lenzes and are baddass plain and simple. If you want something cheap, that may not be the best, but will still make you proud get the hellas.

the hella 500s are cool because they are decent, slim profile and cheap..... i have 1 on my truck right now and 2 hella knockoff lights to the side of the middle one... works awesome... the problem i have heard with the hellas is that the mount allows too much vibration... but i figure, when i have them on, my trucks already vibrating so much that its fine....

I agree. I have the PIAA 520 and i got them for 80 bucks off a friend. I also have the hella 500s. The PIAAS are a fog light so the go wide and the 500s are the driving lights. You cant really get the real/true feeling of the brightness unless u experience it..IMO. I am content with the PIAAS, but ive heard only good things about the lightforces. If you wanna spend the money...get the lightforces....so bascially what turboale said..LOL

I couldn't come up with money for PIAA, so I settled for Hella 500s. I have no problems with them, they light up everything I need to see. I haven't actually seen PIAAs, but I have heard nothing but good things. If money isn't an option I say PIAAs, if your just looking for some extra light I say Hellas.
