lifting question

im looking at this 3" lift from revtek, its the first one on this page

what do you guys think about spacers? i have heard they are unsafe, etc. how will this effect my CV's in the front? will i have to extend anything like my steering column or shifter or anything? thats just on body lifts, right?

if anyone knows of any other lifts, it would help. possibly a 2", and no more than 3. i dont want to go more than a 31.5" tire. might go 265/75R16, which is 31.6 i believe... so i dont need a huge lift.

thanks a lot everyone.

Check out this for answers to all your questions...but it will probably create more.

Toyota SUV Suspension Lift Collaboration

Whatever you decide to do Mike at Xtreme Off-Road is the guy to go through for parts.

**EDIT: Sorry Rowan I just realized you have a Tacoma. I will leave the info up for anybody else (4Runner owners) that may want it.**

If your wanting spacers and blocks, I think Cornfed is cheaper than Revtek. Have you been over the Tacoma Territory?

i looked briefly at the site, but it is kind of confusing. tomorrow or tuesday i will take some time and register, and look around.

i'd like to stay away from spacers and blocks, but dont really have the money. i'd like to know if they are really unsafe, or cause any other type of damage.

still wondering about my first few questions there.
