Lifting a 3rd gen to fit 33's
#22

You could get some cheap sliders, then you could still be "trail rated" and still have a way to get into your rig
Half the fun of having such a big truck is watching all your drunk friends with skirts get back into your truck after a night of alchahol and dancing... quite entertaining...

Honestly its going to be cheapest if you get someone you know that knows how to weld and has a bender to make them for you. Espcially being so far away, your going to get raped on shipping. Honestly a buddy of mine who was making them half for fun half to pay for his mandrel bender would have been perfect. They are not the strongest sliders but he only charged me $150 and he even installed them for me free. Since I got a body lift I am going to redo the mounts and strengthen them up a bit, but since your just going to use them for side steps they would have been perfect for you. I don't know if he's making them anymore. I need to give him a buzz anyway so I'll ask him if you want but shipping from the east coast isn't going to be cheap.
I'll let you know...
