Lift, Shift knob Questions
I have a couple questions about parts for my 1999 4runner SR5 4wd, maybe you guys could give me some guidance. First of all i think the ugliest part of my 4runner is the shift knob for my automatic transmition. Does anyone know of any after market options for automatic shift knobs, I have searched all over yotatech and the internet but have come up empty. Also one of my buddies who drives a tacoma introduced me to a company called "Toy Tec Lifts" they make spacer lifts similar to Cornfed. Here is the link to their website http://www.toyteclifts.com/4Runner.html. They seem to be very reasonably priced and from the feel of the my friends tacoma it keeps the ride similar to stock. Let me know what you guys think of this. As always thanks for everyones help and all imput is appreciated.

Shift knob options for autos are definitely less numerous than for manuals.
If you've got to deal with an OD button, your options are even more constrained.
From what I gather, the Napolex 'Levoc' brand is well-regarded (but pricey) if you need a knob with an OD button.....

Honestly, the stock one isn't that bad. It looks rugged, like the truck. Most suvs now have a stalk mounted shifter (ala expedtion)

No, never heard of them, but I can get you a CornFed lift kit which is great quality and reasonable. My prices are also lower than their website.
