They're 1W luxeon LEDs. They'll blind you if you look directly at them.

I don't remember how tall the front is now, but it's about as low as I could go.

I have got to get a camera and get some up to date pics. An old one. I mounted the one on the left too far in. It started bothering me so I finally moved it out.

used yakima mako saddle mounts,, you could even get 4 bike rack mighty mounds for the stock rack to mount the lights with, then get some 3 inch bolts and nuts and then you are done

What do you think

How much room is there to mount a light on the front bumper, how thick can the light be? 3" maybe?

Why would you spend that much money on knock-offs when you can get Hella 500's for about the same price?

The hellas are nice lights, I think they are great for entry level lights.

I have really hard my eye on lightforces, piaa 520/525's with dual beam fuction, but I really like the warn model # 160 dual beam. Simple and solid I think, not many people have them but I like'em.

They are tilted down so they actually do something, there is room to stand them vertical
If I were to buy them again I wouldn't get the fogs, I'd have all driving lights. The fogs don't do squat on a vehicle so high up.

Hah, what do you mean, if i stand em up straight they don't shine on forever? I guess it makes sense. The last vehicle I mounted some lights on was a civic, so there wasn't really a need to point them anyway but straight, especially cause they were some walmart trash I bought to make the drive to the sawmill a little easier in the mornings. I'll keep in mind that advice about the fogs being somewhat useless for a 4runner though. Thanks for the info

Hi rcars4life. Mine are mounted on the stock roof rack. A pair of Hella 500's. I used Yakima Q-adapters (iirc) to attach to the ellipse-shaped (if cross-sectioned) front bar of the rack.
