Leaking oil, Rear main seal? $850!!!

Leaking oil, Rear main seal? $850!!!
So I noticed I had some oil on my skid, had the dealer check it out, an they said it looks like it's the rear main seal in the transmission and it'll cost 850 bucks!!!!! Great, just right before I was gonna order my tjm!!
I've been checking the tranny oil and it's been at a good level. Doesn't look like I'm leaking a lot, but it's there. What should I do? Go with the stealer or try to find a independent shop?
And how long can I go without getting it fixed?? I don't have 850 bucks at this instant either

You'll need to fix it all right. My best advice is Don't Take It To a Dealership! Find an independent shop with a good reputation. Give them all your business, save a bundle, and develop a relationship with someone you can trust. My 2 cents...
