Leaking automatic?

I was just under my truck (2gen 3.0 auto), and noticed that I have developed a transmission fluid leak. I had driven it for about 15 minutes before I checked, and it seemed to be shifting fine and whatnot. I can't really figure out exactly where it is leaking from.....does the auto tranny have a gasket?
It seems like it is leaking from the very front of the transmission houseing. The drain plug is secure, and there is nothing obvious around that.
I just filled it up again with auto fluid, and my buddy reccomended some stop leak fluid........so I put that in there too. Has anyone else run into this?
Any input would be apprecaited.
Thanks
Mark

As a shot in the dark, are you sure it is ATF and not oil? My 3.0 and auto leaked from the rear main seal on the engine.

Umm, I am not intirely sure to be truthful. It is too dark/cold right now to check.....but tomorrow I will pull it into the shop and make sure. I know that this is definitely a new developement though. Due to me pouring new ATF fluid in.....the dipstick won't give me an accurate reading.....but I had to drive it home from my girlfriend's house, and it was running perfectly. Who knows....
Tomorrow I will rip off the front skid plate, and maybe the tires...see if I can't find the exactly place its leaking from.
Thanks.

Could be front seal in tranny . Its about 8 bucks ,but you will have to spit engine or tranny to fix.
