Make It Stop!

There is this little fan underneath the passenger seat of my 2000 4runner that keeps runnning even with the blower off . It keeps running no matter what speed or function I use on the hvac controls . What is the function of this little fan and how do I make it stop? It just started this 4 days ago after I turned the heater blower off. Any help would be appreciated. thnx, mike

Check the rear climate controls on the floor. The fan under the seat blows air onto the feet of the people in the back seat.

There's a switch on the back of the center console for the rear passengers. That fan is the rear floor heater. Flip the switch on the back of the console to turn it off.
