I am thinking about putting a header on my truck. Does anyone know if the flange on the LC Engineering street header for the 22R is stainless steel? I checked their website and I see that the header is stainless steel, but I have heard that sometimes companies sell stainless steel headers with a mild steel flange. I want to go with ceramic coated headers, but it seems to be way too expensive. Does anyone know where I can get a good ceramic coated header for under $300?

 

I just got a LCE ceramic coated header and high flow cat...it is sweet, but not under $300.

 

I could not seem to find any ceramic coated headers on their site. Did you buy it off of their website or did you have it ceramic coated by someone else?

 

I got it off their site...doesn't say it is ceramic coated...perhaps it ain't...I thought it was...seems like others mentioned it was though...

 

I believe the lc are already ceramic coated.

 

I have heard that they switch from ceramic coated to stainless steel. Maybe I will give them a call. Thanks for the replies.
