lady with a missing part for her car

A few days ago I was having some work done at my local garage. A blonde came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten. We all looked at each other and another customer asked, "What is a seven-hundred-ten?" She replied, "You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine, I have lost it and need a new one.." She replied that she did not know exactly what it was, but this piece had always been there. The mechanic gave her a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like. She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710. He then took her over to another car which had its hood up and asked "is there a 710 on this car?" She pointed and said, "Of course, its right there." If you're not sure what a 710 is Click Here

Reminds me of the time a chick came in Canadian Tire while I was standing at the parts counter. She was look for parts for her "Pontiac Gooole" We were all kinda looking at each other wodering if maybe it was a new model we had not herd of, or maybe an imported car. She swears it is a 1988 and that it says right on her trunk lid Pontiac Gooole"

Finally buddie walks out to her car, a 1988 4 door Pontiac 6000 LE.

Anybody have a bucket of grinder sparks?
Or a skyhook?
My truck threw Johnson rod and got jammed in my gergulator. I tried to remove it with a left handed screwdriver and a metric hammer. No luck. If only I had a board stretcher...
By the way, first day of spring is here. Time to take the winter air out of your tires and put the summer air in.
here's more

My sister when she had her first new car, a '73 Nova back in '73, asked:

"What is that frying pan looking thing on top of the engine?

I told her that was the air cleaner.
