Any one had this problem?? The door is closed at the moment, it won't open so how do I get access inside the door to see whats wrong?? Any help appreciated. Does anyone have an exploded view of the door I can have a look at?

Rear passenger door or rear cargo door?

 

it's the vehicle code for the 3rd gen 4Runner with the 1KZ-TE engine... most probably it's a JDM Hilux Surf

 

either way it is the same if it is the rear hatch or the back door. I am guessing it is the rear hatch since a rear door has two handles (one in and one out). The panel needs to be removed. If it is the rear hatch there is a bolt under the cover where the pull strap comes down. One of linkage arms probably popped off.
