Keyless Entry Question....

Question:

If I replace my car battery, do I have to re-programm my keyless entry remotes?

I need to replace my battery soon.

Maybe replace the battery. Or the button is worn out.

The remotes have their 'serial number/code' stored in EEPROM on the remote. EEPROM is non-volatile (it stays when power is removed)... ditto for the settings in the vehicle for the alarm. You can replace both batterys and not have to reprogram.
