i have searched the forum and i have not been able to find an answer to my problem, so here it is. right now i have a 2000 4runner limited and i cannot lock the doors with the remote or with the button inside the car. but i can unlock the doors with both. i just had the ecu replaced and it worked for about a week and now i am at this stage were i cannot lock them. any one have any ideas?

 

I had this same problem on and off with my locks about a year ago. After a while it just fixed itself. The only thing I think could be the culprit was cold weather (in my case), but like I said, after having trouble with it for a couple months it just disappeared

 

Did you ever find an answer to your question? I am having the exact same problem on the exact same vehicle, would love to know if you got it fixed.
