Keeping Dust Out Of Bed With Topper

Has anybody come up with a way to minimize the dust that accumulates inside the bed when a topper is installed? Off-road dust, I mean. I've sealed the gap between the tailgate and the bottom rear of the bed but that doesn't help too much.

Then I put duct tape underneath the bed rails, but haven't had a chance to test that out yet. Maybe in a few weeks.

I also have weatherstripping seals mounted vertically to seal the tailgate/taillight area.

The only gaps I have left are at the top corners of the tailgate. Any ideas???

Most dust sneaks in from the rear so I'd bet if you block those top corners you'd help diminish the the problem by a lot.

Yea what he said.

A buddy of mine installed a couple of These : http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...12407/12406/12 on either side of his topper with the scoop facing forward. They scoop enough air to pressurize the topper and keeps the dust from being sucked in. I was sceptical, at first, as I thought they would force rain inside as well. The kind he installed have a little flapper deal that can be opened from inside the shell or out side. He runs with them closed around town and they are water tight. Nothing gets wet driving in the rain. When we load up with camping gear and head for the hills he opens them. He sleeps in the back of his truck and when we set up and unload, the gear and the inside of his topper are clean as a whistle.
