Just got a Magnaflow installed...

...and in the words of Lloyd Christmas, I like it a lot!! I picked up the 18" body style, from dhancali here on the boards.

When I first heard it start up after the install, I was stunned by how great it sounded. And its just as good driving around. Its loud, but not too loud. I think the 14" may have been a little too much, but the 18" seems to be just what I was looking for.

Tom,

What would your 4runner be without the "For Sale" boards!??!?!

Any resonance? If so, where? And though not as important, has it passed the "significant other" test? My wife liked the Dynomax I had b/c it was not too loud.

Bob

Glad you like the new tunes rockin' from your Runner Tom.
I never get tired of my 14"er
It sounds great all the time.

If you can make a vid later, get me the model # off it also.

Bob,

Yeah the For Sale section has been very good to me!

I haven't had any resonance issues yet, but (a) I haven't driven it more than a few miles so far and (b) I'm still having too much fun to notice. I will keep you posted though.

As far as the sig. other test goes, I'll let you know on that one too. Right now, she doesn't even know I got it...

Corey, my digicam does record movie clips, so I'll get one to you soon!

Cool, just make sure it is MPG, AVI, or WMV.
I don't do Quick Time.

Sorry, the last one I sent you was a .wav file.

Tom,
I'm glad you like the Magnaflow.

WAVs are good too.

Someone just sent me 3 Quick Time vids earlier in the week, and I can't view them, so I don't want to post them without seeing them.

If you have seen a few other threads here, I won't run QT on my PC.
It screws up some of my custom plugins I run for other aps.
No way to fix it either than taking QT off, and reinstalling my plugins.

Just an update on the "Significant Other" test...

I drove the 4Runner to work this morning, and she didn't say a word. I'm not sure if she didn't notice (although I don't know how she couldn't) or just didn't bother to say anything. I was a little surprised, I was hoping for a little recognition!! Haha.

Oh well, I'll come right out and ask later today!

MISTAKE!!!

It sounds like you got away with it, and you are going to ask her? You must like sleeping on the couch. Hey, I'm buying a new house. Where did you get such a comfortable couch?

My wife likes my exhaust. I would post the movies but Corey doesn't like QT, so I cant (dang it Corey!) j/k. Heck, she even has intake on her Accord. Of course, the intake gained her 50HP, so its all good.

The intake costed us $1.50. Can you say "Lowes?"

(Basically I did 3 ISR mods).
