Smile Just Bought a 91 4Runner and need help

Hi guys this is my first posting to this forum and as the title says I need help.
My 4 Runner a 1991 V6 door with 116000km (ap 68000Miles)
it has 31 x10.5 15 goodyear workhorse tires, the motor I was told was replaced due to some recall and the new motor only has 45k (27M) on it
I want to due some upgrading front bumper and rear, sliders lights, fender flares. I just bought a roof basket last week Thule playpen with extension seamed like a good choice
I also want to get a front bumper with a 2" hitch that can be used for a winch (front or back) so I need help finding this as well as a good rear bumper that wraps around like the oem ones does. K&N airfilter just the insert or a hole new assembly(round cone shape one)

also I live in the Canadian Arctic 2000 miles from the closest city so going to the welding shop is out of the question.

also clear rear light is there such thing for the 91??

thanks all that respond

also anything about i should worry about with 4Runners in -45 to -60 weather anyone use 0w30 oil systhic

Hey there,

The bumper- There is a guy down here that makes em pretty cheap. He posts alot on www.bc4x4.com and his name is tarran. His post name is 1/2 toy1/2chevy. He custom makes them and does very nice work.

The K&N- don't bother. You actually lose horsepower and torque with these engines. You would be better off to modify the airbox as posted on this site in the tech section. K&N has a class action lawsuit being brought against it at the moment over these intakes.

Congrats on the truck. Where abouts are you? north of Dawson?

Take it easy
Steve

don't use the straight 30 in that cold of climate. Use 10w30 in the climate you said or 5w30 if the temperature is just below freezing.
