Junk Yard Score of the Day...
I went to Pick and Pull today looking for some replacement seats for my 84 Tercel Wagon. Since i drive 100+ miles per day, i wanted to get something a little more comfy than the stockers. While scrounging throught the old Toyotas I came across this 4WD Tercel Wagon. Guess what i found inside...

I took it off and went up to the front with it, and only got charged $6.00 for it. Can't beat that with a stick!!! I only wish it had an altimiter too, but for $6 what do you want!!
BTW I never did get the seats I wanted.....

you can pretty much put in any seats you want as long as they aren't too wide to fit. my truck had ugly burgundy seats out of a t-bird when i bought it -- they barely fit and so their backs were straight up and down...horridly uncomfortable. i swapped my buckets out of my '84 pickup in(just had to drill some new holes) and put the t-bird seats in my other truck before i sold it.

I went to the one in Fremont, They have been advertising on the radio that it's a half day this weekend. I'd assume that they are all having 1/2 off...

I found a set that were in a 93 Celica, the color was fairly close to the Tercel, but the tracks were about 1/2 inch wider, and a little longer. They were pretty comfortable and looked to be in pretty good shape. I might go back tomorrow and pick them up.

Most yards that have that new of a Toyota are going to be full service salvage yards. PNP very rarely has any newer toy's. I have seen one Taco (complete burn 2wd reg cab) and a few (very few) first gen 4Runners, and 84-88 Trucks.

Yeah there are quite a few. But the only one around here that specializes in Toyotas is TAP in Sac... What are you looking for? Have you tried Car-part.com?
