Will these fenderflares work on a 97 runner? it just say tacoma but im curious since the runner and tacoma are basically the same

They do look nice, would be better if they did in fact have a set for 3rd gen 4runners. I know from that picture that the rear driver's side has a cut out for the fuel door that would be different from a 4runner, I don't know about any other differences in dimensions etc between 4runner/Tacoma but I would inquire with the seller about a 4runner specific set if they have them.

 

if the gas cut-out is the difference I am defiently going to invest in a set, personally I do not want to get them anyways, just those dam washington state laws.....

 

are they just rebadged xenon flares?

 

I don't think they're going to work just because there's no cut out for the rear doors. They need to be a two piece for the rear flares. And they do look like the xenons except for the width (xenon=1.25", jungle flares=2.00")
