Has anyone used the Jet Chip http://www.performanceproducts4truck...ance+Software+ or anyother make? Are they worth the money? How do they effect the MPG?

Ummm, it depends on how far you wanna take it, and how much work you wanna do. Most of us run "piggybacks" (PerfectPower SMT-6 & -7 or SplitSecond FTC1) to get control of fuel delivery and timing, but...

There's a family of 100% ECU replacements on the market, all are VERY programmable and each is adaptable to 99% of the engine setups available anywhere. One is the MegaSquirt - funny name, POWERFUL controller. It's a bit of work to get it up and running, you kinda' need to be at least familiar with programming in C, but there's nothing like it.

Check out gadgetonline.com & read his articles. He did the R&D for the URD kit that he markets & has some input on the jet chip. Apparentlly it didn't fly.
