on my 22re when i accelerate in each of the gears when I get to higher RPMs it starts to jerk. the tranny is starting to go bad and sometimes it idles rough when cold but other then that it runs fine. any ideas.

 

My 84 Camry was starting to jerk on acceleration-just after shifting and never on constant and steady acceleration, unless I totally let off the gas and started accelerating again. It turned out to be the throtle position sensor worn out. My mechanic fixed it with epoxy.
