Hey Guys,

Where did you get the silver grill inserts? Those are awsome. I need to get some. Any info on where to find would be appreciated.

My truck came with the silver grill. I didn't like it at first, but now I do.

nrgetic99, I think it is official........I hate you now. I can't quit thinking about this and how good it looks. As I explained to Jason, I can't just order it because I am married. I have to get my Chief Financial Officer's (the wife) approval for something like this. I also have to pick the best time to bring it up, so that I do not lose a limb or put the boys in any danger. Some how I have to find a way....

Anyway, here is a semi-side shot that was on the Jaos page.

Momo,

If it any consolation, you have what I want and vice versa. I proposed 3 weeks ago and was turned down...bummer.

Hence, financial irresposibility is my middle name now

Anyone wanna buy a really nice ring ???

I could SC my V8 and AND have a kick @ss DVD system for what that cost.

So my friend, count your blessings and accept your CFO is probably better for you in the long run than a center protector

David

P.S. No more pics until next week per my earlier thread..working to pay da bills

Holy crap! I am sorry to hear that. I guess it is better this way than to get into a marraige that might end up in divorce later. Hang in there.

Yep, it is good to have her telling me what not to buy, but damn it looks good.

Keep your chin up. I agree, it is better to know now then get into a marriage that fails at the first sign of rough water. And you don't want to be with somebody who has finances as the # 1 reason to enter marriage.

Keep focused on your family, health and work. The right person will come along who will understand the need for you to have a 'hobby'. And will want to be with you because of who you are, not what your checking account has in it.

I know how momo feels when he says he has to wait until the right moment and the right lunar position to discuss vehicles and accessories. I learned long ago when to discuss spending anything more than $5. And when not to.

I would love to get the Jaos, but $600 + $200 shipping=not now.
Better go sell some plasma and start saving.

Jason B,

I like the design of that protector, but I would prefer black on my truck. Can those be ordered in a black powder coating?

Thanks,

Doug M.

I just emailed ARB again. The deluxe bull bar is my preference, but I don't plan on waiting around for them. They seem like they're dragging their feet on this one.

If I can get the Jaos in black, I may go that route.

TJM: same deal as ARB.

I can have them black powdercoated! To do one it would be aprox $159 to black powder coat. If I get 2-3 people that want the SAME THING DONE, that price will go done a very decent amount. Doing them individually makes it more.

Thanks Jason, maybe a few of us can get together and do that.

Info from ARB and TJM says that as of now, they have no plans on building a bumper or bull bar for the 2003 4Runner.

Both returned my emails earlier today. That sucks, but its not the end of the world.

Before I go into it further with Jaos I plan on checking out more options.
