Wow... you've been busy - thread-wise I don't blame you though. Everyone here has always come through for me when I had questions.

I personally have WAAG grille guards and like the look of it. Seems pretty sturdy too...

of course, nothing like an ARB or whatever.

toyotaguy97 - I don't know if you've been lurking around or not but I think you'll quickly learn that everyone here is always pushing for the ARBs or other such bumper replacements.

If you're looking for any type of protection, brushguard probably isnt something you should get. and personally i'd rather save up a little more and get a supercharger for that kind of money. Everyone that has one would agree Im sure

The only person I know of that used to run a Jaos Bull Bar was Phong. Here is a link to his page explaining why he took it off. He has since put on a TJM T-15.

Tal and Hadas

Get a Tal and Hadas brushguard. The JAOS ones go up past $1000, ridiculous... Here are some pics of a Tal and Hadas one. You'll see that the main grill guard piece is tubular versus all the others being squared-off plates. If I'd get a grill guard, it would be this one. I just personally think the JAOS one is way too overpriced.
Full grille/brush guard

Just the grille guard part.

Give Mike at http://www.xtremeoff-road.com/ a call. They make them for your truck. Hes a fellow yotatecher and will give you a good deal. If you can wait, I think there is going to be a group buy, or we are thinking about having one this summer sometime.

jaos = crap

it would jiggle at every bump in the road... how was it supposed to offer any type of protection?

I know I posted this in another thread ... but I would really like to get a new bumper soon (ie TJM), if the price is right. I hope someone with connections gets a group buy together soon.

I think the Jaos stuff is ridiculous. I don't see how they can charge that much for their stuff. That Tal and Hadas grill guard looks sweet! I've never seen or heard of them before. I've got a thread going about grill guards and just posted a reponse. I came across this site the other day and the guys sent back responses to my questions today. Check out the thread and see what you think. Here is the website......

Later.
