I've sprung a leak!

Your anti-freeze is red unless someone flushed it out and put the yellowish/lime green Prestone or similar anti-freeze.
I'm not sure what color Air conditioning refrigerant is. Auto tranny fluid and power steering fluid are red, gear and motor oils are golden. All of those turn black with age.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess its conventional (non Toyota) anti-freeze.

Thanks for the reply, just called my toyota service dept, and they were actually quite helpful! the chickie said that melting snow and salt oxidizes on the exhaust and produces a bright yellow fluid. so that is what i saw in the snow, either that or the neighbour's dog takin a leak!
