I've been hiding something

I have to admit guilt, my 2000 4runner isn't stock anymore and I've been hiding pictures from you guys. I know I know. But better late than never

I've got a shrockworks on order, I wont keep you guys in the dark when that gets in.

Looks great, I love the Baja Rack. The 4Runner looks right at home out in the woods; where are those pictures taken at? I'm planning a trip to AR in the Spring some time to do some light exploring and camping.

Thanks for the complements guys, I'll get some details up soon. It's a pretty common set up. The hammock is made by a company call ENO "eagle nest outfitters" they have a ton of stuff. That hammock is super easy to set up just about any where

I did OME in the front 882's I believe, of course with the diff drop. In the back I used a set of coils off the front of a LC. It sits up a little more in the back. But it doesn't bother me

Now I need to get some new tires. Put on a panhard drop and maybe some new brake lines.

How many wraps on the LC coils? I've got some 8-wrap's that I think are gonna be too big. I think I had 9-wraps on my last 4runner and gave me about 5" of lift

I don't know how many wraps, when I put them on I didn't know to much about the LC coils, other than they would work. I'll have to count next time I'm under it. But it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 to 5 inches. It's a little more noticeable with 265's I think once I upgrade it'll be hard to tell.

Also baja you might know this, or anyone else that cares to chime in. I'd prefer to do with 255/85's instead of 285/75's but all I can seem to find is; KM2, Bighorns and Cooper ST. I'm really looking for something more like a geolander or BFG all terrains. Any ideas?

I bought a hammock like this in the summer of '61. I was in the Boy Scouts and also the envy of the troop whenever it rained (often in Fla). Ordered it from an ad in Argosy magazine. Netting, rainfly and sleeping bag came to less than 14 lbs.

You can get the Toyo M/T in a LT255/85/R16. Be warned they are E load rated. (10 ply and really stiff sidewalls) Excellent traction tires.

those bighorns last a while Miles, especially if aired up right and rotated correctly. I've heard of people getting around 40k out of them. Hell you can get 4 of them with shipping right now from ebay for 700. I plan on them being my next tire.

You've seen the Cooper ST's on mine. Except they are 285s. The tread is weird but they are awesome tires. I really like them. They have an aggressive hybrid tread and would function well with what I'd figure you'd have to throw at them. I have a hard time spinning them in the rain and I tried them out in the snow tonight, I'm pretty pleased.

When's the bumper come in? I'm ordering my rear CBI in a couple weeks Hollar at me some time, we need to go grab some drinks.

Oh yeah its sweet, I had a "jungle combat hammock" before this back in scouts that had a built in rain fly and bug net. It was so difficult to set up I rarely used it. But the rain fly and bug net on the ENO is all separate and pretty easy to use.

Man, I didn't know those where coopers you had, the tread does look a little funky but I like yours. So thats another one on the list. I had a set of 33 inch bighorns on my 95 and I was fairly pleased. The bighorns are also hard to beat for the price. I'm not sure about the bumper, should be here in the next few weeks. Also BIG 10-4 on some drinks here soon.

nice looking rig. I actually like lifts that are a touch higher in the back.
