What's up everyone! I just purchased a 2002 4Runner Sport Edition and am anxious to make some modifications. I was thinking of purchasing the Ivan Stewart TRD wheels, but have heard that the finish peels after a while.

Has anyone had any problems with these rims?

Any pictures of a 3rd Generation 4Runner with the IS rims?

The finish on the lip of the rims is so so after about a year. The rest of the rim looks great. And it really isn't that noticable....

I'm not concerned about it... they still look great!

 

The wheels do have a clear coat finish to them and they do peel off-- If you don't maintain them regularly they will look crappy...

I had mine for over 5 years now only two of the four wheels have started peeling-- I just buff them with polish so they don't look as bad...
