IRS on a 2003 Tundra

ISR on a 2003 Tundra
Ok I am going to do this mod in a week or two. My question is should I just cap off the FPR with a vaccum cap or connect hoses like ALBMP. Also I have to cut the plactic intake tube to put the pipe in right.
P.S. does this mod void the warrent on the intake or the whole engine just got my truck in November 02.
