IPF's Installed - pics

Added on some IPF's 968's i think they are. They kill Hella 500's which I had on my old runner, although they are a bit more. I wanted to try making some brackets as I didnt want to drill my bumper. I drilled into a part of the chassis bumper and made some C-brackets and connected them together with some L bar. Also got the lexan covers. OK no one cares about that, so on to the pics!

Looks great. They match your headlights, clear corners and bumpers well. Really adds a great look to the front.

ya youll love these lights,,they have the driving light pattern but also spread to act as a "fog" by producing a wide beam closer to the lights. what type of tjm? does it have the hoops? one guy did a writeup and found that some of the wide beam pattern was hindered by the hoops.

Looks good!! I did something similiar with my 550's on my truck. It gives me a good starting point for them on my 4runner.

They look great. I like how you came up with your own mounting brackets, good stuff.

Yup, thats where i bought them too. Also got the clear covers. The great thing too is that they come with a pair of 55W and 100W bulbs.

I just installed a TJM T-15...the one w/ the hoops. I'll have to look and see how much light (if any) is being lost by the hoop. If light is in fact being hindered by the hoop (spreading to the left and right), then it's not much. These IPF Driving lights already spread wider than my OEM headlights do.

Bought mine @ 4x4 Connection too. Chris is great guy to do business with.

Yeah, it's nice to have the extra 100wt bulbs. I will not be running the 100wt bulbs on my front pair b/c I tapped into my existing OEM fog light wires to be able to retain the OEM fog light switch on the steering wheel. The OEM fogs can only handle 55wts.

However, I'm currently installing 4 IPF 868s (the rectangle model) atop my roof rack. I have already swapped those 55wt bulbs for the extra 100wt bulbs they came with. I will use the other 2 100wt bulbs off the 968s as spares.

wow rockslide,,,you are truly going to turn night into day with all those IPF's

i kept mine independant of the original fogs..3way switch so they can come on with highs only, or whenever i want(as long as key is at ACC )

I like to think so too.

I've already done the fog light mod, so I can turn on the IPFs w/ the high beams or w/ just the parking lights on and no headlights.
