I'm still at a loss as to why the extremeair would cost (now) $315 when this one is $200

and harborfreight has a 120V version with a thermal overload and pressure regulator for $89

They are all 3/4hp and have the same head unit and probably the same motor in the 12V versions.

Looks aren't everything. What's the flow rate at 90 psi. What's the max pressure and what's the Duty Cycle?

It's listed as continuous duty like the extremeair. That compressor head is only continuous at 70 degrees F but I don't know at what pressure. Max pressure is 150. CFM rating is only listed at 0 as 4cfm same as the extremeair. I haven't seen more complete specs anywhere.

From my tests and usage, it performs with similar specs to the Viair 550.

I am very interested..can you use these with the ARB lockers and for tires? and I am going to ask a very stupid question here...where do you all mount these things? are they small enough to mount it in the rear cubby hole in a 3rd gen?
Thanks,
Todd

See www.larsdennert.com/4runner/arb and www.larsdennert.com/4runner/compressor That should help answer questions.

The specs for the full size Extremeaire are: 14"Lx6"Wx10"H. I don't know about the jr model. Here is a write-up on the full size version. The first pic is a pretty good illustration of the size.

Also, guys please, we got Mike to cut us a screaming deal on these. I don't care if you want to get or promote another kind or brand or whatever, but this shouldn't be the thread for it.

Thanks.

Gadget,

I spoke to Mike tonight about placing the same order. He is working a deal with Extremeaire to have them ship direct to us from the factory (to save us more $). He's out of Stauns currently and awaiting a shipment. Hold tight. He should have info for us tomorrow. I've emailed him, but since I'm impatient, I called him too.

Mike is probably having nightmares about Cebby and I. Like Cebby said above, hopefully we should know something in the next day or two.

FWIW guys, I was able to pay for the Stauns with Paypal and simply noted "Yotatech Staun group buy". I imagine this probably won't be much different.

Hello, alright it looks like it will be to our benefit to have them shipped to me, and then forwarded to each of you. For those of you who are interested in a system, please shoot me an e mail ( sales@xtremeoff-road.com )with your shipping information and what product you would like. I will return an e mail with the total, from that point you can either send the money via paypal to sales@xtremeoff-road.com or call 602-763-2960 and I can take VISA, MC, or American Express over the phone. For those of you who wish to pay by check, that is possible as well. Address is:

Mike, or Cebby since you talk to Mike more, can you let us know what the cut-off date for this will be so we (I) can budget for it?

Hi there, well being that I need to order these and have them shipped to me first, we will need to agree on when everyone would like to receive theirs...We can do it one of two ways, make it open until the end of the year and place one large order, however, that would mean that people would not receive them until approx 10 Jan. What sort of time frame are people looking to get them? Maybe we can place one order a week or so from today and then another on the first? How would it work best for everyone?

Mike
