Interest in Northwest 4-Runner Club?

I think Corey may have been running a club of this sort at one time, but I'm not aware of any active 4-runner clubs in the Pacific Northwest, and would like to start one up, with official club runs once a month, open to members and friends, any vehicle is welcome, but you must be a 4-runner owner to become a member. It would be open to 4-runner enthusiasts in general (non-offroaders included), monthly meetings to chat about new mods, and an excuse to get together and have some fun! Anyways, if I get even some mild interest in this (at least 5 or 6 people), I'd be willing to get this started.

Me too- I may have to keep bumping it untill more Seattle area folks see the post, but it'd be a fun way to get connected to a good group of folks.

Maybe a mod in the main forum could stick this for ya for a few days?

When we move back up there, I am so down. Of course, I have no idea when that will be.

Raises Hand!

Jumps up and down!

Attempts cartwheel! (falls over, but provides comic relief )

And I think that there's a Bellingham member that could be talked into this as well.

Rule number 1... "Money" isn't the issue; the credit limit is on your Visa is! (and the one on your MasterCard, and the Discover, and the wife's Visa that she didn't think you knew about...)

Im in.
Not all the runs we take need a lift or meaty tires.
We had a bone stock 96 4Runner at Reiter Pit last week. Obviously we didnt hit Lake Isabelle but it was all still a kick in pants.
I would really like to see this idea come to life. It always seem to start off with alot of excitement but always seem fissle out as soon as meeting dates are set.
So guys. If we really like to see this happen we really need to see some of you come out.

Sweet guys, sounds like we have enough to get started, and I'm sure this thing will really take off once word gets out. Kevy, I want to stress that this is not meant to be a hard core off-roading club. I haven't finished paying for mine yet either, so while I'm doing mods to take it off road, I'm not itching to damage it either. This will just be a fun way to hang out with people who like the same things as you, whether its just general vehicle maintence, sound systems, off-roading, whatever.

Okay, on that note, I'm sure most of you know about the Northwest 4-runner jam thats coming up in August. So, I think a goal would be to have the club more or less put together, and have one meeting/get-together beforehand. Some of the things we need to figure out/consider are:

1) Club name
2) Club logo
3) Web site?
4) General club rules/ meeting times, etc.

Mertzr of this board put me in contact with someone who's gotten a club started in California, and I'm going to get in touch with him and try to get some of the basics down, since while I've run organizations in college a long long time ago, I've never started one from scratch. While I don't want this to turn into something too technical, having some type of framework may save us some trouble down the road once things really get going.

So, put the word out to your friends. First things first though, how about suggestions for names? I'll start with an easy one-
"Pacific Northwest 4-Runners"

Ducky- something like that would be a good. I was thinking of something along that lines with Mt. Rainier in the background to make it specific to the Northwest.

What about something like this, or something along this lines, with or without a 4-runner added in somewhere. I'd like to stay way from the cartoony look.
