Intake and Throttle Body Upgrades

ANOTHER IDEA: another user here asked me if i would be interested in making some stainless intake tubes for toyota trucks. now i have a 3.4 in a 96 tacoma, so i can mock my own, but i would need some other stock ones to mock other vehicles and applications.
specs would be:
stainless mandrel bent tubing ( to replace everything between the TB and MAF), tig welded, 3" diameter, and a bolt on application. they will also include two bungs and two nipples for the vacuum lines.
Price will be somewhere between 85-100$ shipped.
please let me know what you think and post or PM me.

Ive also got a guy who is willing to bore toyota TB's for us for way cheaper than other places charge ($290). His price is $165 with return shipping included.

He needs a 3.4L TB to look at first to make sure he is capable of doing it, so he said the first to send him one will get theirs done for $135 shipped back to you.
First 3vz, and 22RE sent in to him will be $150 shipped back. Normal on all will be $165.

PM me or post if interested. Turnaround is normally 1 day.
His work is good, ive seen a few other TB's he's done, and he knows what he's doing. Will be overbored 3mm and a new plate made of course.

Would he bore it and install a new butterfly valve, or would he simply tape it up to the butterfly valve?

Nobody willing to send those TB's yet? An intake and a bored TB and a TB spacer, would be great, but I can't afford the downtime, as my 04 D-Cab is still my DD. Sorry man. Keep us updated when you get some things running. Specially those intakes.

first intake will be made the first week in aug. as that is the only time i have available now. also nobody has sent a TB in either. and i dont think TB spacers do anything so that wouldnt really help.

thanks for the interest though.

Would a TB bore be a greater benefit on an NA engine or a blown engine?
