Angry Installing new driveshaft

2000 Tacoma 2.7 Single Cab

Hello, I ordered a new driveshaft and am wondering if there is going to be an issue installing it correctly as far as balancing. I know on my old shaft I had paint marks aligning it. I have'nt received the shaft yet and I'm guessing it could take a few tries. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks.

The marks you used were to make sure the driveshaft was phased correctly if you pulled the shaft apart at the slip yoke. When you get your new driveshaft, it will be put together, and you will not need to worry about marking it, unless you plan on pulling it into two pieces. (Don't do that). The shaft will be balanced and ready to install.
