Initial hard starting

My 1986 22tre truck is difficult to start or fire after sitting for a couple of days. After initial start -up chock cought etc. It runs fine and starts well unlimitedly for even the next day. Any ideas? Loose connections somewhere?

Sounds like a fuel delivery issue to me, assuming everything is tuned up. I have a carbureted truck, so my fuel pump is mechanical, but if I let it sit for a few days then I have to crank it to get the fuel back into the carburetor before it will start. I am not sure if the turbo intake system has a choke plate, but if it does then that could be sticking and causing it to not start right. Hope that helps.
