Indiglo Needles

Someone on here was interested in Indiglo needles so here are a couple of links. They are from the same company. One happens to be a group buy:

4Runner not listed

4Runners aren't listed, but some Toyotas are. Do we have Lexan needles? I know mine have faded a bit..

Those are really slick!

Thanks pfdaxe!!

Hey, thanks! I was wondering about that a little bit ago. I wonder if it'll work. I kinda dubt it will with the way the 4 smaller gauges are made on the 2nd gens. If they do, I may check them out. Cool beans.

Well, have fun.

I just looked at my needles, I can see a clear edge. Does this mean we have to pull the needles? I don't know how this kit will turn a red needle into a blue one. I have the full Indi face so if I dim the face, the brighter needle may look good. I really should wait for the reverse Indi's...first.

Question Faded needles

The two large nedles on my 91 runner are faded to almost white. Is it possible to remove the needles and paint the backsides so I can see them again? I am wondering if I pop the needles off if it will be difficult to replace them again.

to clear up anything, I talked to the guy today at Import car parts on the phone he said that I would just have to scrap the off the red, orange or whatever color on the needles so that they are clear, he said it doesnt take long and they will work fine!

I retract my last statement BIGTIME! This is gonna be a Extremely teedias and careful trick, to SCRAP those needles being easy and quick and not damage them? hmm, After i think about it a min I have real mixed feelings, let me know if you guys think we can turn our Reddish needles into those really nice blue indiglo needles without bending or really damaging them, IF and only if there made of lexan they could stand up to a Mack truck but i am not sure, Nalgene bottles are made of lexan and i have thrown mine off a 3 story building no leaks no shatter, just some scraps tough as TOYOTA!

How about paint thinner or nail polish remover?
