Well, I just found out that my son will be vying for a soccer scholarship on Saturday and I really should be there.

That, of course, means that I won't be showing up at McDonald's at 9:00 on Saturday.

So, you guys go have fun playing in the mud and slime without me. Thanks for the invite anyway. Here's hoping that we can hookup sometime later for another romp.

hey guys, don't forget that it's $15 to wheel, and $5 per passenger, and everyone must have a flag(you can get em there for $10)

I have got a SWR meter. Do you want me to bring it? I attach my flag to my ARB bumper or you can hang it out the window.

You can pick up a bike flag at wallmart for $3. Saves ya $7. Most people just put them out their back window and roll it up to keep it from falling out...

hey martin,
I am getting a firestik, with the tunable tip, and was wondering if after you tune it, if I take it out of my mount, do I have to retune it again?

this is a pic (hopefully it will work) of my rig pre-bfg's, and my buddy who is comin from Cinci to ride(but he won't take his 3"lifted on bfg JGC! !![IMG]

Well, I am not the CB expert but I am sitting on the fence on this one. On my firestik I have a quick release and I don't retune it. I would assume as long as you attach the antena in the same manner it should be OK, but not the best. You can test this theory with a SWR meter I suppose.

Well fella's its about that time... Snowed here today, but it's already melting, and Sat's forecast looks sunny and 32 degrees. can't wait to wheel.

I saw an older Tacoma on campus yesterday, and left him a note hopefully he'll want to wheel.

Martin I pm'd you.

PoBoy, are you still gonna be running late? See you all on Sat.

Still snowing lightly down here... biggest flakes of the day, though. It has snowed nonstop since 9 this morning and I'd say we have 1-2" on the ground. How far is Attica from Lafayette? I might go spend the night up there afterwards.

Andrew,

Lafayette is 45 minutes from Attica and I would suggest the new Holiday Inn located in downtown Lafayette. I don't know anything about the rates but you are close to some of the action.
